Quentin's Weeknotes 3/13/22-3/19/22
This Week:
- I finished reading Harrow the Ninth, the second book in the “Locked Tomb” trilogy by Tamsyn Muir. I found it much harder to read than the propulsive wonder of the first book. It’s a fractured narrative, with an unreliable narrator, which I reallized I just don’t structurally care for, even as I continue to enjoy Muir’s rich prose and fantastic mythology.
- In MUST204, we talked about the CSAAM list-serv, how to take good artifact photos for databases, and the history of collections.
- The Yager Museum welcomed Bonney Hartley, the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Historic Preservation Manager for a talk about repatriation.
- I made some plans for further Indigenous art programming at the Museum in the future.
