Quentin's Weeknotes 6/12/22-6/18/22
This Week:
- I watched “Roadrunner” about the life of Anthony Bourdain. It reminded me again, as @ablington said on twitter that his life’s work was “to teach Americans not to be scared of other people.”
- At the Museum, our assistant and I did some inventory of paintings, prints, drawings, and sculpture.
- I had a lovely (though too short) visit from my folks.
- I finished reading Christopher Brown’s “Tropic of Kanas”, a stylish dystopia that was ultimately both hopeful and realistic in its vision of the future of the US. Brown is also clearly well versed in anarchist theory and culture and I recognized a lot of the lingo peppered throughout this exciting and terrifying book.
