Quentin's Weeknotes 6/5/22-6/11/22
This Week:
- I finished reading Ryan Grim’s “We’ve Got People: From Jesse Jackson to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the End of Big Money and the Rise of a Movement”. It’s a book about the organizing and activism lurking in the Democratic party, and the forces arrayed against it. It was genuinely inspiring during an otherwise dark time, but left me begging some questions about it’s history and rhetorical style. I got a copy for free for giving money to the Intercept (where Grim is DC Bureau Chief) and you should support them as well!
- I bought Nic Jones' live collection “Game Set Match”
- I did some more inventory work at the Museum.
- I finished up a draft of a panel that we’re printing as art of work with another organization.
- A very happy birthday to my good friend the Minister of Intrigue!
