Quentin's Weeknotes 9/12/20-9/19/20

This Week:

• The love of my life celebrated another turn around the sun on Friday. I love you, Alanna.
• I was off Museum work, but continued to teach. This week was about collecting in the ancient world, with examples from Mesopotamia, and Classical Greek Temple collecting.
• I finished reading Neil Gaiman’s “The Ocean at the End of the Lane”, and the first volume of Daniel Jose Older’s “Dactyl Hill Squad” (kids of color in Civil War era New York ride dinosaurs into battle against racists!) which I read with my son. I also read through the first volume of the late John Lewis’s autobiographical graphic novel “March."
