Weeknotes: 03/16/25-03/22/25
This Week:
- Last Friday, we went to Montreal for a quick 3-day vacation. We went a couple years ago, but took advantage of overlapping school breaks to spend a little more time exploring the old city. We went to a Erabliere Meunier, a sugar shack near the city for a delicious and gargantuan Quebecois lumberjack dinner. We visited the Notre-Dame Basilica, the Museum of Archaeology, and the Biodome, all of which were delightful. Mostly we walked around the old city, ate great food, and enjoyed being a family on an adventure.
- This week, it was Hartwick’s Spring break, so the Museum was closed along with the rest of the campus. I took the opportunity to work on my syllabus for MUST252, move the “discovering our place” exhibit installation along, and work on finalizing the reporting of our NAGPRA repatriation grant.
