Weeknotes: 06/09/24-06/15/24
This Week:
- I finished reading “Anansi Boys” by Neil Gaiman, which fell kind of flat for me; a more lightweight, emptier version of American Gods.
- Alanna and I watched “Hobbs and Shaw” which was bonkers, silly, and exciting.
- I met with a local tribal rep to discuss moving our repatriation work forward.
- We had a visit from the kids at Riverside Elementary School. Despite some miscommunication on my part about navigation and parking, they had a great time and so did we. We also welcomed a visit from the join Hartwick/SUNY Oneonta summer field school.
- Our daughter had her preschool graduation ceremony, which was sweet and sad.
- I did some program planning for future kids programs and concerts at the Museum.
- I bought a copy of Phoebe Bridgers “Stranger in the Alps” which I’m looking forward to getting to know.
- I had a good chat with the Minister of Intrigue, on the occasion of his birthday.
